to lead and perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and installations of electrical and electronic systems in a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems and be capable of training and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles, including wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting, sensors, and control modules.
Perform installation and configuration of electrical components, alarms, tracking systems, sound systems, and other accessories.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and reset vehicle systems.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Conduct quality checks and test repairs to ensure proper functionality.
Stay updated with modern vehicle electrical systems including hybrid and EV technologies.
Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and workshop staff.
Maintain detailed service records and job cards for each task.
Ensure safety protocols and workshop standards are always followed.
Qualifications:
Diploma or technical certification in automotive electrical/electronics or related field.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical work.
Strong understanding of modern vehicle electronics and diagnostic procedures.
Familiarity with scan tools such as OBD, Autel, Launch, Bosch, or equivalent.
Ability to work on a variety of vehicle brands and models.
Good communication and team leadership skills.
UAE driving license is an advantage.
