Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicle problems using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension, and steering components Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and brake repairs Repair or replace shocks & struts, shocks, and other suspension parts Work on diesel engines, ADAS systems, air brakes, and electrical systems as needed Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and engine repair Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics and technical manuals Proficiency with diagnostic equipment for automotive diagnostics Familiarity with auto estimating software is desirable Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
