Automotive Mechanic
Job Description
Perform general vehicle maintenance and repair (engine, brakes, suspension, transmission, cooling, and exhaust systems).
Inspect vehicles using diagnostic tools and road testing to identify mechanical issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-ups.
Repair or replace damaged parts, using appropriate tools and manufacturer-approved methods.
Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards in line with Liberty Car Care procedures.
Keep detailed service records and communicate clearly with the Service Advisor about required repairs or parts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work area.
Follow workshop safety protocols and uphold a clean, professional image at all times.
Support colleagues and assist in mentoring junior technicians when needed.
Stay updated with automotive technology, diagnostic tools, and service bulletins.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong hands-on experience in
multi-brand vehicle maintenance and repair
(light vehicles preferred). Solid understanding ofmechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs efficiently and accurately. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused attitude. Physically fit, punctual, and safety-conscious. Flexible to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.Qualifications
Diploma or Technical Certificate
in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory). Minimum3-5 years of hands-on experience
in vehicle repair and maintenance (experience in GCC or UAE workshops is an advantage). Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and service equipment. Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.Job Type: Full-time
