Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Automotive Electrician to join our garage team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in various types of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in vehicles, including wiring, batteries, lighting systems, ignition, and electronic control units. Install, repair, and maintain electrical accessories such as alarms, GPS systems, audio systems, and sensors. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues in electrical and electronic systems. Repair and replace defective wiring, fuses, switches, and relays. Calibrate and program vehicle electronic systems when required. Ensure that electrical repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Test vehicle electrical systems after repairs to confirm proper functioning. Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used. Keep up to date with the latest automotive electrical technologies and repair methods.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an automotive electrician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certification or technical training in automotive electrical work (preferred).
