Job Description

Diagnose and repair faults in

vehicle electrical and electronic systems

, including wiring, sensors, control modules, and lighting systems. Troubleshoot issues in

starter motors, alternators, batteries, fuse boxes, central locking, power windows, A/C electrical, and instrument clusters

. Perform advanced electrical tasks such as

rewiring, soldering, circuit repairs, load testing, grounding fixes

, and continuity testing. Inspect and test electrical circuits using

multimeters, test lights, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic scanners

. Repair and program electronic components such as

ECU, BCM, ABS, airbag modules

, and re-calibrate sensors when required. Install electrical accessories such as

reverse cameras, infotainment systems, dash cams, parking sensors

, and additional lighting. Read, interpret, and follow

wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals

accurately. Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to diagnose mixed mechanical-electrical issues. Ensure all electrical repairs meet Liberty Car Care's safety and quality standards. Document all work performed, including diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts used. Maintain workshop tools and equipment in safe working condition. Stay updated with new automotive electrical technologies, hybrid systems, and diagnostics.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing

automotive electrical faults

(multi-brand experience preferred). Deep understanding of electronic systems including

CANBUS, ECU communication, sensors, relays, fuses, and control modules

. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as

multimeters, scanners, oscilloscopes

, and electrical testing equipment. Methodical, patient, and able to troubleshoot complex faults without guesswork. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Can work independently and also collaborate effectively with mechanics and technicians. Reliable, punctual, and able to handle workload during peak workshop operations. Quality-driven with a professional attitude and strong problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

Diploma / Technical Certificate

in Automotive Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field (preferred).

3-6 years of experience

as an Auto Electrician in multi-brand workshops (UAE/GCC experience is an advantage). Strong understanding of

modern automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and control modules

. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals. Experience with hybrid or EV electrical systems is a major plus (optional but valuable). Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
