Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic with expertise in vehicle programming and diagnostics. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, allowing them to interact effectively with customers and team members while delivering top-notch automotive services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.

- Program and calibrate vehicle control units (ECUs) and electronic systems for performance optimization and troubleshooting.

- Use advanced diagnostic tools to analyzeanalyse onboard computer systems and resolve software-related problems.

- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and preventative maintenance strategies.

- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and software advancements.

- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop innovative automotive solutions.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with knowledge of vehicle electronics and programming.

- Strong understanding of ECU programming, vehicle diagnostics, and automotive software applications.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and software-related vehicle issues.

- Certification in automotive repair and diagnostics is a plus.

- Knowledge of OBD-II protocols, CAN bus systems, and vehicle networking is highly desirable.
