Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test automotive components and systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, chassis, suspension).
Work with cross-functional teams to improve vehicle performance, safety, and fuel efficiency.
Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues in prototypes and existing models.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies.
Use CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and modifying components.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
Proficient in automotive design and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB, CATIA).
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (powertrain, suspension, braking, etc.).
Familiar with automotive testing standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, Six Sigma).
