Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with expertise in ladder logic, function block diagram, and sequential flow chart programming. The ideal candidate will have experience with various communication protocols and microcontroller programming, and a strong foundation in electronic engineering. Proficiency in Python programming and Linux operating systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs using ladder logic, function block diagram, and sequential flow chart. Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus, CANopen, Optomax, RS-485, and RS-232. Integrate and manage CAN bus systems and HMI (Human Machine Interface). Develop and maintain microcontroller and microprocessor-based systems. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of PLC programs with other systems. Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PLC-related issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

At least a three years technical Diploma in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in PLC programming using ladder logic, function block diagram, and sequential flow chart. Strong knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, CANopen, Optomax, RS-485, RS-232, CAN bus). Proficiency in HMI development and integration. Experience with microcontroller and microprocessor programming. Familiarity with Python programming and Linux operating systems. Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with industrial automation and control systems. Knowledge of advanced programming languages and software development.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
