Job Description

Study project specifications and drawings to ensure design is in compliance with project requirements.

Prepare automation design deliverables (documents & drawings) as per project deliverables list and in compliance with project specifications.

Prepare technical details & BOQ required for material procurement.

Evaluate vendor offers for various items and advise procurement / projects about technical recommendations for vendor finalization.

Review vendor design deliverables to ensure it is in line with project requirements.

Prepare material submittals for client approval.

Develop and/or adjust PLC/HMI/SCADA/RTU application software, reporting etc. based on the technology and systems used in the facility.

Responsible for Control system site testing & commissioning, including, Loop checks, functional tests, commissioning, troubleshooting and trainings to client.

Operation, configuration, testing & commissioning of Network interface using foundation fieldbus / Profibus PA/ Profibus DP / Modbus / Ethernet.

Troubleshooting & site support on various installed running systems as and when needed.

Assist Plant Manager to implement any improvement in the control of the O&M activities
Must have proven experience in PLC system design & hands on programming with any or more of the following PLCs: Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens. 5 years or more in total

Must have proven experience in HMI /SCADA system design & hands on programming with the following SCADAs: Factory Talk View ME/SE, Citect, Wonderware, WinCC. 3 years or more in total

Must have proven experience in PLC system design & hands on programming with any or more of the following PLCs: Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens. 5 years or more in total

Must have proven experience in HMI /SCADA system design & hands on programming with the following SCADAs: Factory Talk View ME/SE, Citect, Wonderware, WinCC. 3 years or more in total

Ability to read & interpret P&IDs and other related E&I documents.
