Job Description

Scope and General Purpose of Job:

To handle projects and carryout services related to SCADA, RTU, Automation and and other electrical equipment, hardware & software, to solve technical problems, to assess the situations for the problems that may arise in the field, to handle disruption of service.

1.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1.1 To prepare relevant project engineering documents (i.e. FDS, Testing procedure, GA Drawings, Electrical Drawings, P&ID, Methodologies, VDRLs, etc.)

1.2 To prepare detailed engineering documents, proper electrical drawings, layouts, data sheets and other relation documentations for approval.

1.3 To carry out the installation, configuration, testing & commissioning of RTU

1.4 To carry out the installation, configuration, testing & commissioning of communication modem (3G/4G, FO, Wi-Fi etc.)

1.5 To handle all field engineering works related to E-SCADA, substation automation and SCMS.

1.6 To develop HMIs & Graphics

1.7 To lead the site team for the configuration, installation, testing & commissioning of OHL Fault Passage Indicator & ARC communication Gateway.

1.8 To assist in project execution as requested by Senior Engineer, Team Leader (P&U) and Project

Manager(s).

1.9 To support Techno-commercial as requested during bidding and tendering phases.

1.10 To carry out the internal testing, FAT & SAT.

1.11 To handle troubleshooting and debugging on E-SCADA installed base.

1.12 To carry out the configuration of network switches, servers & related equipment's.

1.13 To lead the site team for the installation, testing & commissioning of network switches, servers &

SCADA.

1.14 To carry out the configuration of OHL Fault Passage Indicator (FPI) and ARC Communication

gateway.

1.15 To lead the site team for the installation, testing & commissioning of OHL Fault Passage

Indicator (FPI) & ARC communication Gateway.

1.16 During the Automation Engineer's absence, other P&U engineer will delegate the same responsibilities.

1.17 To assist department team when required.

1.18 To show consideration of the department's requirements for flexible working hours when working

demands arise.

1.19 To perform other duties as assigned by Management.

QHSE Responsibilities

3.1 Conforms to the requirements of QHSE management system.

3.2 Responsible for the quality of work and implementation of AUTOCHIM SYSTEMS' policies and standard procedures.

3.3 To identify and report any known or potential problems and recommend solutions to aid subsequent risk management and corrective action activities.

3.4 To participate and engage with OH&S management processes (e.g., mock drill/fire drill etc.).

3.5 To cooperate and coordinate actions to ensure safe undertakings at workplace.

4.

Occasional Responsibilities

4.1 To report any equipment failures/problems to the HR Department.

4.2 To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.

4.3 To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.

5.

Legal Responsibilities

5.1 To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.

6.2 To initial requisition form, MRN, DN.

6.3 To initial Technical and Commercial Proposals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
