Automatic / Electrical Door Technician / Installer
to join our technical team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting various types of automatic door systems. The role involves working on residential, commercial and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality installation and reliable performance of all door automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain and repair automatic sliding doors, swing doors, revolving doors, shutters, sectional doors, and elevator door systems.
Perform installation and servicing of sliding door operators, including wiring, calibration, and alignment.
Install and configure radar sensors, safety sensors, and door activation systems.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in automated door systems and provide effective solutions.
Program motors and controllers, ensuring correct setup for different types of automatic doors.
Install motors and automation units in the correct position according to door type and manufacturer standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals accurately.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and performance.
Provide on-site technical support, respond to service calls, and ensure timely job completion.
Prepare service reports, installation documentation, and maintain records for all assigned tasks.
Required Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an automatic door technician or in a similar technical role.
Practical experience in installation and maintenance of sliding glass doors, swing doors, and revolving doors.
Experience in installing radar sensors, safety sensors, and access control systems.
Ability to program motors and install motor units for different automatic door types.
Good understanding of electrical wiring, sensors, motors and door control systems.
Ability to work independently and handle on-site tasks efficiently.
