Job Summary: Looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Prepare and create detailed technical drawings as well as plans using AutoCAD software based on project requirements, specifications, and guidelines
• Analyze and interpret design sketches, hand-drawn plans, as well as other project documentation to create accurate and comprehensive AutoCAD drawings
• Make sure all drawings comply with company standards, industry codes, as well as regulations, adhering to quality and accuracy standards
• Perform necessary calculations and measurements to verify the correctness of the drawn plans
• Carry out regular checks for errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in the drawings and rectify them promptly
• Update and maintain drawing databases
• Ensure meeting project deadlines

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant must have relevant qualifications with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in computer-aided design and drafting, preferably in electrical works & instrumentation
• Candidates with experience from switchgear industries are preferred
• Expertise in AutoCAD software with a strong understanding of drafting principles and standards
• Solid technical aptitude and mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to create precise and error-free drawings
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Should have a proactive and self-motivated attitude, displaying a willingness to learn and adapt to changing project requirements
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team
• Must be able to join immediately
