Create detailed 2D drawings of false ceiling layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
Incorporate lighting, HVAC, fire safety, and acoustic elements into ceiling designs.
Ensure drawings comply with architectural plans and client specifications.
Coordination
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and site supervisors to gather design requirements.
Coordinate with MEP teams to integrate services within ceiling spaces.
Revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
Documentation
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications.
Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Assist in preparing shop drawings and as-built documentation.
Site Support
Conduct site visits to verify measurements and ensure design feasibility.
Provide technical support during installation phases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
Knowledge of false ceiling systems (gypsum, metal, grid, acoustic).
Understanding of building codes and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in interior fit-out or architectural drafting.
Familiarity with BIM workflows.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
