Below are the key duties and responsibilities for the role:
1.
Drafting and Design Documentation
Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for AVL systems, including:
Audio system layouts (speaker placements, signal flow)
Video system diagrams (camera locations, screen/projector placement)
Lighting layouts (fixture placements, circuits, rigging plans)
Generate detailed schematics and wiring diagrams for AVL connectivity.
Create rack elevations for equipment installations.
2.
Collaboration with Engineering & Project Teams
Work closely with AVL engineers, system designers, and project managers to interpret technical requirements and convert them into professional drawings.
Incorporate client specifications, architectural drawings, and on-site constraints into the system layouts.
3.
Coordination with Other Disciplines
Coordinate AutoCAD drawings with MEP, architectural, and structural teams to prevent design clashes.
Ensure AVL systems are compatible with the overall building infrastructure.
4.
Revisions and As-Built Drawings
Update drawings based on:
Design changes
Site markups or field inputs from engineers/technicians
Client feedback
Prepare final as-built drawings for documentation and project handover.
