Job Description

Prepare and revise construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software. Create detailed plans for civil structures including foundations, roads, drainage, formwork, reinforcements, and site layouts. Coordinate with site engineers and surveyors to incorporate actual site conditions into updated drawings. Ensure that all drawings are prepared in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), quantity take-offs, and layout plans when required. Maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving drawings and records. Revise drawings based on mark-ups, comments from consultants, and client requirements. Assist in compiling as-built documentation for project handover. Ensure drawing revisions and versions are clearly marked and tracked.
Requirements:

Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of drafting experience in construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, or BIM tools is a plus. Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and construction methods. Ability to interpret and convert design specifications into clear, accurate drawings. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in infrastructure, high-rise buildings, or specialized projects like data centers. Familiarity with industry standards (BS, ASTM, ACI, etc.). Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and document control systems.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
