About the Role
The Draftsman role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects, collaborating with architects and engineers, and ensuring designs meet industry standards and client needs. It's a crucial position that requires precision, technical expertise, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Create precise and detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans for construction projects using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and finalize designs.
Review and revise drawings to meet project specifications and client requirements.
Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and company guidelines.
Assist in conducting site measurements and surveys as needed.
Maintain organized project documentation and update drawings as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years' work experience as a Draftsman in the UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
Strong understanding of construction principles, technical standards, and building regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
Ability to interpret and apply technical data, specifications, and construction documents.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Prior experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
Experience in both high rise and villas projects is preferred.
