Job Title: AutoCAD Draftsman cum Document Controller (ELV Systems) : We\'re looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman cum Document Controller with expertise in ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems. Your role involves creating precise technical drawings for ELV systems using AutoCAD and ensuring smooth document control processes throughout projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting ELV System Designs: Create accurate technical drawings for ELV systems like structured cabling and security systems using AutoCAD.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into clear drawings.
- Document Control: Manage the creation, revision, and distribution of ELV system documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Version Management: Keep track of document revisions and ensure the latest versions are available to relevant stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Review drawings to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Coordination: Coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors to integrate ELV system designs effectively.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for ELV system-related communication between teams.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance on ELV system design and document control to team members as needed.
- ELV Systems Expertise: Experience in designing ELV systems, preferably in construction or engineering.
- AutoCAD Proficiency: Strong skills in using AutoCAD for technical drawings.
- Document Control Experience: Familiarity with document management principles.
- Knowledge of Standards: Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
- Education: Diploma or degree in a relevant field preferred.
- UAE Experience Preferred: Ideally, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience working in the UAE, familiar with local regulations and practices in construction or engineering projects.
