We are hiring for a leading manufacturer specializing in trailers, mixer trucks, cement bulker storage silo truck bodies, tanks, and tanker cargo bodies. We are currently seeking a skilled Autocad Draftsman to join our dynamic team in Ajman.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Autocad software to create detailed drawings and designs for trailers, mixer trucks, cement bulker storage silo truck bodies, tanks, and tanker cargo bodies.Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.Ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications and standards in all drafted designs.Modify and revise drawings as necessary to accommodate changes and improvements.Create 2D and 3D models of components and assemblies for manufacturing purposes.Work closely with production teams to provide support and clarification on design specifications.Review and analyze technical documents and blueprints to ensure compatibility and feasibility.Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and revisions.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Autocad Draftsman in a similar role, preferably in trailer and truck body design.Proficiency in Autocad software and other relevant design tools.Strong understanding of drafting techniques, standards, and best practices.Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
