MEP Designer

to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile projects across the region.

Job Summary:

The MEP Designer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and supervision of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Dubai regulations and international standards and experience in delivering complex projects from design through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, water supply, and drainage systems. Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other consultants to ensure effective integration of all building systems. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation from contractors. Ensure compliance with DEWA, DM, DCD, and other local authority regulations and codes. Conduct site inspections to monitor the quality and progress of MEP installations. Evaluate contractor performance and ensure works are executed as per approved design, specifications, and timelines. Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving activities during project execution and after handover. Provide technical support during tendering, procurement, and value engineering processes. Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. Minimum 3

+ years

of experience in MEP design and site execution in the UAE. Solid knowledge of local authority submission procedures (DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.). Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design tools. Strong understanding of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, IEC). Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

Valid UAE Driving License. (preferred)
