Job Purpose:

The

Automotive Technician

will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles to the highest standards of safety and performance. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive

vehicle inspections

to identify faults and maintenance requirements. Perform

mechanical and electrical repairs

, including engine overhauling, clutch replacement, brake systems, and suspension work. Utilize

diagnostic tools

(OBD scanners, multimeters, etc.) to troubleshoot complex automotive issues. Execute

preventive maintenance services

such as oil changes, filter replacements, and general tune-ups. Repair or replace

electrical components

, including alternators, batteries, sensors, and lighting systems. Ensure all repairs and maintenance adhere to

safety protocols and workshop quality standards.

Collaborate with supervisors and service advisors for effective

workflow management

. Conduct

post-repair road tests

to verify performance and reliability. Maintain a

clean, organized workspace

and respect workshop tools and equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Minimum

2-5 years of experience

in an automotive workshop (UAE experience preferred). Strong knowledge of

vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret

technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

Familiarity with

modern diagnostic equipment and vehicle software.

Hardworking, honest, and able to work under minimal supervision. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Education & Qualification:

Diploma / Certificate in

Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.

Trade Test Certification (preferred).
