Job Purpose
To diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles standards, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Principal Accountabilities
Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and filter replacements.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Carry out advanced troubleshooting and corrective actions in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and documented in the service records.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Adhere to company safety standards, policies, and manufacturer repair procedures.
Keep up to date with new technologies, technical bulletins, and training programs.
Communicate effectively with the service advisor/foreman regarding job status and additional required repairs.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Automobile Engineering / Automotive Technology (or equivalent).
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance and repair (preferably in dealerships or authorized workshops).
Basic knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools, equipment, and repair manuals.
Good communication skills and ability to follow safety and quality standards.
