Job Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced

Auto Mobile Electrician

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on a variety of

light and heavy vehicles

, both in the workshop and on-site (mobile service). This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics and repair electrical faults in vehicles including wiring, lighting, ignition, charging, and starting systems. Install and maintain vehicle electrical accessories (GPS systems, cameras, alarms, radios, etc.). Work with both

light vehicles

(cars, vans, utes) and

heavy vehicles

(trucks, buses, trailers, earthmoving equipment). Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues with electronic control systems (ECU, ABS, airbag systems, etc.). Conduct routine electrical inspections and preventative maintenance. Provide on-site/mobile electrical repair services as required. Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and job completion times. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures at all times.

Requirements:

Certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience as an auto electrician, preferably with both heavy and light vehicles. Sound knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic tools. Valid driver's license . Ability to work independently and manage on-site service calls. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Good communication and customer service skills.
