Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately.
Repair or replace parts such as brakes, engines, transmission systems, suspension, air conditioning, and other major components.
Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and labor time.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs.
Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized.
Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, and electronic).
Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent (preferred, not required).
Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
