Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics using tools and scanners to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
Repair or replace defective parts in engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension, and other vehicle systems.
Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake servicing, and inspections.
Ensure all repairs and services are done according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure performance.
Supervise and support junior mechanics and technicians in their daily tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete job cards and reports accurately and on time.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and workshop managers regarding job progress and any additional work needed.
Stay updated on latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with at least
3+ years
in the field.
Certification or diploma in Automotive Technology or equivalent (preferred).
Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, service manuals, and OEM standards.
Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with multiple car brands ( European, etc.)
Knowledge of hybrid or electric vehicle systems (a plus)
