What you'll do
Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and alignment.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for maintenance and repair tasks.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance services to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals for efficient repairs.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly to clients.
Stay updated on advancements in automotive technology, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair.
Basic qualifications
Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in a dealership setting.
Familiarity with GM vehicles and auto body repair techniques.
Knowledge of welding practices related to automotive repairs.
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
