Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized

Auto Garage Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our garage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring efficient workflow, and maximizing productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate activities of mechanics, technicians, and support staff. Oversee customer service operations, ensuring timely and professional service. Schedule and assign jobs to mechanics based on skills and workload. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards. Monitor inventory of parts and supplies; order stock as needed. Maintain accurate records of services, parts, work orders, and invoices. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Train, motivate, and evaluate garage personnel. Manage garage budget, including labor costs, parts procurement, and operational expenses. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an auto garage manager, service manager, or similar role. In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair practices. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proficient in garage management software and MS Office. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

Typically based in a garage/workshop environment. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required
