to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, battery systems, and alternators.
Install, maintain, and repair vehicle accessories such as alarms, GPS units, reverse cameras, infotainment systems, and air conditioning electronics.
Troubleshoot and fix complex issues involving ECUs, sensors, actuators, and CAN bus communication systems.
Use diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and testing equipment to identify issues accurately.
Repair or replace damaged electrical wiring and connectors.
Calibrate and program electronic modules using OEM or aftermarket diagnostic software.
Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicle electrical systems.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
Work collaboratively with mechanics and service advisors to ensure efficient vehicle servicing.
Requirements:
Education
: Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
: Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Auto Electrician in a dealership, workshop, or fleet maintenance environment.
Technical Skills
:
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems
Proficient with diagnostic tools (OBD-II scanners, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Familiarity with hybrid/electric vehicle systems (a plus)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Valid driver's license
