Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Repair Duties

Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in vehicles including wiring, lighting, ignition, batteries, alternators, and starters Install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components such as sensors, ECU units, and dashboard instruments Conduct preventive maintenance and routine checks on vehicle electrical systems Test and ensure proper functioning of all electrical components after repairs

Customer & Service Support

Coordinate with service advisors to explain vehicle issues and repairs needed Provide advice to customers regarding electrical system maintenance and care Ensure timely completion of assigned repair jobs

Safety & Compliance

Follow workshop safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment Comply with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Documentation

Maintain accurate records of repairs, replaced parts, and service history Prepare reports for completed jobs as required

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar automotive electrical role Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service instructions Certification in Automotive Electrical Systems is an advantage Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
