Electrical Diagnostics and Repairs

Inspect, diagnose, and repair

electrical faults

in both light vehicles (cars, pickups, vans) and heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, cranes, forklifts, etc.). Perform

troubleshooting

using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, scan tools). Repair or replace

defective wiring

, switches, relays, alternators, starters, and other electrical components. Install and maintain lighting systems, sensors, and wiring harnesses.

Preventive Maintenance

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems. Test batteries, charging systems, and ignition systems. Replace worn-out electrical parts to prevent future breakdowns.

Installation Work

Install additional electrical accessories such as GPS units, alarms, reverse cameras, radios, beacons, and communication systems.

Technical Documentation

Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.

Safety Compliance

Follow safety protocols during repairs and ensure compliance with company and government safety standards. Identify potential hazards and report unsafe equipment or practices.

Team Support

Coordinate with mechanics and technicians for combined mechanical-electrical tasks. Assist in training junior electricians or apprentices if required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

:

Diploma or Technical Certification in Auto Electrical / Automotive Engineering Valid driving license (light and/or heavy vehicle, as required)

Experience

:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Auto Electrician, with exposure to both light vehicles and heavy-duty machinery

Skills

:

Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and CAN bus systems Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic software Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus

Working Conditions

:

Workshop and field environments May involve overtime, emergency callouts, and exposure to heat/noise Physical work including standing, lifting, and bending
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR1,800.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
