Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose
To be responsible for the management, preparation and controlling all CAD drawings to support NDT Inspection Team in platform facilities, and assist in the production of relevant drawings, plans, layouts, and data as requested.
Functions
- Reading and interpreting P&ID, Piping Layouts, and Isometric drawings and specifications.
- This role will be responsible for developing Isometric Piping Drawings with the use of AutoCAD or related program.
- Working from sketches, notes and other input materials and develop detailed AutoCAD drawings.
- Discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively with immediate supervisor and other project personnel.
- Preparing Detail drawings for Access platforms, Fixed & Rotating Machinery Equipment, Equipment supports, Skids, Handrails, Stairs and ladders, Boat landing, Manifolds, Riser, Riser Clamps etc.
- Convert field sketches into AutoCAD.
- Make corrections to the drawings as requested by the senior staff.
Safety
Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and outlook
- Prior experience with Isometrics
- Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
\xc2\xa7 Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the relevant inspection techniques within the oil and gas industry. \xc2\xa7 Be proficient in Word, Excel and Windows based programs (E) \xc2\xa7 Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills.
