They are looking for an audit manager to lead a mixed sector portfolio that includes some huge listed business alongside some regional heavyweights. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of talented audit professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Plan, execute, and oversee external audit engagements, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Review and analyze audit findings, communicate results to clients, and provide valuable insights to enhance their business processes and financial reporting.
- Stay current with industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging best practices, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in external audit, with a strong track record of managing audit engagements and leading teams.
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Proficiency in relevant audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
