Job Description

We are seeking an Audit professional who has completed the UAE Fellowship Program (ACCA-EAAA) and has hands-on UAE audit experience to join our client in Accounting & Business Advisory in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
Audit & Assurance

  • Plan, execute, and review statutory and internal audits within the UAE.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize audit working papers, financial statements, and reports.
  • Assess internal controls, audit risks, and complex transactions.
  • Address challenging audit areas, including related party transactions, going concern, and accounting judgments.
Regulatory & Compliance
  • Apply UAE Commercial Companies Law, professional ethics, and independence standards.
  • Ensure audits comply with UAE regulatory and professional requirements.
  • Support documentation for regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
Technical Leadership & Quality Control
  • Provide guidance on IFRS, ISA, and UAE audit application.
  • Develop and maintain audit methodology, manuals, and quality control procedures (ISQM / ISQC).
  • Conduct internal technical reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Team & Client Engagement
  • Supervise and mentor audit staff.
  • Participate in client meetings and technical discussions.
  • Support engagement planning, proposals, and client acceptance.
Mandatory Qualification Requirements:
  • UAE Fellowship Program (ACCA-EAAA).
  • Experience of 5+ years of audit and assurance services.
  • Proven experience as an Auditor in an Audit firm with minimum 3+ years of hands-on audit experience in the UAE.
  • Experience with Mainland and Free Zone entities.
  • Professional accounting qualification: CA / CPA / ACCA / ICAEW (or equivalent), or advanced-stage qualification with substantial audit experience.
  • Strong practical application of IFRS / IFRS for SMEs and ISA in UAE audit engagements.
  • Sound knowledge of UAE Commercial Companies Law, professional ethics, independence, ISQM / ISQC standards.
  • Exposure to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax in audit and compliance contexts.
  • Demonstrated continuous professional development (CPD) and high professional integrity.
  • Exposure to multiple sectors and complex audit engagements in the UAE.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Strong regulatory awareness of UAE audit environment.
  • Leadership, mentoring, and client management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead audit engagements.
