Responsible for assessing, evaluating, and enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance across various business units, ensuring the company's operations remain compliant with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.

Conduct in-depth audits of financial statements, internal controls, operational processes, and regulatory compliances.

Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans based on a risk-based approach, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Prepare internal audit reports and liaise with senior management to present audit findings, actionable recommendations, and suggestions for improving operational efficiency and control systems.

Identify and investigate any potential revenue leakages or inefficiencies within the retail operations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and resolve any discrepancies identified.

Conduct thorough risk assessments across the organization, preparing a risk register and developing detailed mitigation plans to address identified risks.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of internal auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure the completion of audit assignments in a timely and efficient manner.

Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or ACCA is highly preferred

Minimum of 7 years of overall work experience out of which Minimum 2 Years of work experience in UAE, with a focus on the sectors of Retail, Trading & Distribution, F&B, and Clinics.

Knowledge in UAE VAT, Corporate tax, and other regulatory compliances in UAE.

Prior experience in preparing financial statements and in-depth knowledge of IFRS to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with international accounting standards.

Knowledge of trade finance instruments, banking credit facilities, and working capital management is considered an added advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
