Job Description

The role is for a senior executive position in the Audit guiding team. The candidate should have

1. Hands on experience with handling client audit for a minimum of 3-5 years

2. Must have sound knowledge of IFRS & ISA (International standards of Auditing)

3. The role requires to be the point of contact between the client and external auditors.

4. good communication skills, written and verbal, to interact with client and within departments of the company

5. good knowledge of working with Microsoft apps excel, word, pdf, as needed for the job.

6. Assist with preparation of client reports as part of the guiding service and drafting letters necessary in the course of the job

7. Must have sound knowledge of audit report opinion matters such as trigger points for a qualification or emphasis of matter affecting the reports

8. Must be able to identify risk points in an audit to flag off issues in a timely manner to ensure timely completion of audits

9. Must be proficient in IFRS to liaise between accounting team and the audit guiding team and with auditors on purely technical matters

10. Must be efficient in communicating technical aspects with clients over meetings or emails

11. Must be adaptable working with varied staff within the company to co-ordinate tasks affecting your work

12. Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate tax is an added advantage to assist with understanding the overall view on the financial statements.

13. Must be a CA, CPA, ACCA or master's in accounting/ finance field

14. German or Arabic speaking is an added advantage

15. Driving license is a plus to independently commute

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
