Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and conducting internal and external audits in line with approved audit programs.
Review and verify financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management procedures.
Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and potential areas of risk.
Prepare working papers, audit findings, and detailed audit reports for management review.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Support statutory audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP) and company policies.
Assist in special audits, investigations, and operational reviews as required.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
(Preferred: CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA (Finance), or pursuing professional certification.)
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in internal or external audit, accounting, or compliance.
