Audit Associate

Job Description
- onduct internal audits and delivery of the internal audit reports based on the annual audit plan, including any special tasks or projects as assigned by management.
- Develops understanding of business processes in assigned audits and determines business objectives, functions, nature of activities, potential risks and controls to be reviewed.
- Reporting on control deficiencies to management and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value to the business process.
- Prepares audit reports stating findings and conclusions pertaining to the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, control systems, and efficiency of the processes under review.
- Review statutory financial statements underlying disclosures based on IFRS.
- Support in month-end and year-end closing activities of respective holding companies/subsidiaries as per accounting policies & procedures and IFRS.
- Coordination with External auditors for the conduct of audits.
- Assist in the development and review of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Capability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- UAE Driving license is desirable.
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- Internal Auditing, Risk Management & related field: 3 years (Preferred)
- Pharmacy chains, Retails & F&B business: 3 years (Preferred)
- UAE \xe2\x80\x93 VAT and Corporate tax: 3 years (Preferred)
- MS Office \xe2\x80\x93 Excel, Word: 3 years (Preferred)
- Sinhala (Preferred)
- Himalaya (Preferred)
- English (Preferred)
- UAE Driving License (Preferred)
- ATTESTED UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE (Preferred)
