Job Description

Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities

Install and conduct tests on new broadcasting and audiovisual (AV) equipment.
Perform advanced crimping on connectors such as BNC, Micro BNC, RJ45, and XLR.
Configure and maintain AV broadcast and IT networks, including star network configurations.
Set up and support equipment for virtual studio productions.
Operate and supervise AV connections between units and during remote broadcasts.
Set up and manage transmission links and AV circuits for both live and recorded shows.
Diagnose and repair technical issues quickly to reduce equipment downtime.
Design and build custom AV hardware and systems.
Follow technical guidelines provided by product owners and directors to align with creative objectives.
Adhere to workplace health and safety standards at all times.
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies through research and networking.
Communicate clearly with internal teams and colleagues from other departments.

Essential Audio-Visual Skills & Technical Experience

Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of photography fundamentals, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure, and lenses.
Advanced technical knowledge of professional cameras and AV systems.
Experience working with electronic engineering and communication devices.
Skilled in using video cameras and production video switchers.
Practical experience with live chroma keying and SDI systems.
Good color vision and hearing for accurate audiovisual work.
Excellent IT proficiency and project management skills.
Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills.
Team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
