Job Description
Job Summary
The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio, video, and presentation systems to ensure smooth execution of hotel events, conferences, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, and events.
Operate sound systems, microphones, mixers, projectors, LED screens, and video conferencing equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of lighting, staging, and presentation systems where applicable.
Troubleshoot technical issues promptly during events.
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of AV equipment.
Coordinate with Banquet, Sales, and Event teams to meet event requirements.
Maintain AV inventory, cables, and equipment storage.
Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
Diploma or certification in Audio Visual Technology or related field preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel or event AV operations.
Strong knowledge of sound, lighting, and video systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,700.00 per month
