Topaz Event Management, a leading event solutions company in the UAE, is seeking a senior Audio Visual (AV) Operations Manager to lead technical production, oversee AV operations, and deliver world-class event experiences.

What You'll Do

As an

AV Operations Manager,

you will oversee and lead multiple AV teams LED Screens, Sound, Lighting, Trusses & Rigging ensuring seamless coordination across equipment, crew, and operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing AV operations, warehouse, and equipment readiness (logistics, inventory, maintenance). Coordinating with project managers, suppliers, and event teams for timely setup, rehearsals, and live execution. Supervising AV teams, ensuring training, resource allocation, and safety compliance. Implementing processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain quality control. Leading on-site delivery, troubleshooting issues, and bridging creative vision with technical execution. Tracking AV budgets, quotations, and equipment utilization for cost efficiency.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Media Production, or Event Technology PMP (Project Management Professional) - mandatory*
AVIXA CTS / Dante / ETCP Rigger certifications - preferred*
Proficiency in AutoCAD / Vector works - preferred*

What We're Looking For

5-7+ years in senior AV leadership within the UAE event management industry. Proven experience in AV operations, warehouse/logistics, and large-scale production. Strong technical expertise in sound, lighting, rigging, and electrical systems Excellent communication (English required; additional languages a plus) Strong organizational & leadership skills, with ability to multitask in live event environments Flexibility for evening/weekend/holiday schedules as per event demands UAE driving license (mandatory)
