Responsible in ensuring that the company's compliance with safety legislation and regulations, making sure that all proper measures are taken to protect the safety of workers, staff, and visitors.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the HSE officer in establishing, implementing, and monitoring company's HSE policy, objectives, procedures, and programs.
Promote safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
Investigate and report all critical and serious personnel injury accidents.
Assist regular HSE inspections conducted by IMS dept., HSE committee or any government agencies and service provider in any company facilities, such as office and workshop, camps and sites.
Ensure that training requirements e.g. first aid, accident prevention and investigation, workplace inspections, and other matters related to implementing safety procedures.
Ensure that every personnel working on job sites wears safety equipment and that safety rules and regulations are observed and followed.
Conduct regular mock drills, e.g. fire, medical, Chemicals, etc. and ensure that Toolbox talk is regularly carried out.
Monitor and assess hazardous and unsafe situations and develop measures to assure personnel safety.
Participate the Internal and external audits by IMSD and certificating body and serve as guide.
