Job Summary

Emirates International Lubricants Industries LLC is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Assistant Accountant

to support our finance department. Candidates must have

at least 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE

, with solid knowledge of VAT, bank reconciliation, and daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations Conduct regular bank reconciliations Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records Assist in monthly and annual financial reporting Support external/internal audits and ensure timely documentation Handle accounts payable and receivable entries Perform other general assistant accountant duties as required

Qualifications RequiredEducation & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (e.g., B.Com, BBA) Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage but not mandatory

Experience

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

within the UAE

Proven experience in VAT handling, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Excel) Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication skills in English Able to work independently and under pressure
