Job Description
We are looking to hire an Associate to join the Real Estate department, to support the partners and the wider real estate team in handling property cases across the region.
Duties & Personal Attributes
- Advising clients on all aspects of real estate law
- Conducting due diligence
- Drafting opinions and legal advices
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating different real estate related agreements, including leases (retail, commercial and industrial), sale and purchase agreements, development agreements and joint venture agreements;
- Supporting the partners and wider team with business development initiatives related to the real estate practice;
- Qualified lawyer
- Post qualification experience \xe2\x80\x93 ideally 2+ years but will consider other appropriate candidates.
- Experience \xe2\x80\x93the candidate will have experience in real estate and property and have specific experience in real estate acquisitions and disposals (both asset sale and share sale), leasing and real estate development.
- Experience in corporate law/M&A and REITs is of added value
- Language(s) \xe2\x80\x93 Fluent in English, Arabic skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
- Proven ability to take on responsibility and manage files.
- Must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Flexibility, positivity and real interest and background in real estate law.
