Role Description:

Team leader responsible for driving client accounts and relationships, managing and mentoring team, ensuring optimal resource utilization on projects/assignments and managing overall project dynamics and driving profitable growth.

Advisory

\xc2\xb7 Advising Indian and foreign multinationals on a variety of tax aspects viz. tax treaty entitlement, permanent establishment exposures and guardrails for mitigation, income characterization and taxability, deductibility of expenses, withholding tax on domestic and cross border payments, double tax credits, place of effective management, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Advising on different secondment models from a tax and regulatory perspective and assisting in the implementation process

\xc2\xb7 Analysing indirect transfer related provisions and evaluating taxability in India under Indian tax law read with the applicable tax treaty.

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing business models / contracts and advising on the alternative business models prevalent in the industry and the consequent implications on realignment from a corporate tax and regulatory standpoint

\xc2\xb7 Advising on business consolidations involving share sale, merger, demerger, slump sale, etc.

Compliance

Assisting in end-to-end tax compliances

Dispute Resolution

\xc2\xb7 Assisting clients in appellate proceedings before the appellate forums

\xc2\xb7 Assisted a Singapore based entity in filing a Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) application involving taxability of income in India

People & Team Management

\xc2\xb7 Conduct regular connect sessions with team to identify areas of interest & expertise. Ensure task are equally & fairly allotted to the team.

\xc2\xb7 Design coaching programs to groom Trainee Articles. Promotes the Dhruva way using examples and incidents around the Dhruva values.

Knowledge Management

\xc2\xb7 Regularly update Knowledge management database with new updates. Share industry updates with the team and encourage sharing of best practices within team and across teams.

\xc2\xb7 Develop content for networking in external events & seminars. Share knowledge acquired from external forums with team members. Develops industry/ business and sector knowledge.

Brand Management

\xc2\xb7 Representing & endorsing Dhruvas expertise and scope of service at various external forums. Interacting with peers and building a high-quality network in the industry.

\xc2\xb7 Publishing articles& research papers on regular basis. Sharing knowledge and learning at external forums to increase visibility and credibility.

Requirements

CA with 12- 15 Yrs of experience in International corporate Tax,compliance,M&A, TP ,preferably with BIG 4 firms
