Key Responsibilities


Strategy


Support overall M&A strategy

Business


Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and analyse impact on potential M&A transactions Participate in all stages of transaction execution Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, other advisers, and clients Day-to-day project management and execution support Research and analysis of markets and industries Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance

Processes


Understanding of and adherence to the standard procedures and policies required for their role

People and Talent


Lead by example and build the appropriate culture and values

Risk Management


Ensure compliance with SCB internal policies and procedures Identify any key risks and escalate to line manager or to other stakeholders, where appropriate


Key Stakeholders


Senior transactors in M&A Global & Regional Head of M&A Client Coverage teams Legal & Compliance

Skills and Experience


Analytical Skills Basic Financial Accounting MS Excel and Powerpoint Valuation and other Financial Analyses M&A Product and Processes Research and Market Analysis Process Management Risk Management and Internal Controls Conduct

Qualifications


Education: Degree or post graduate qualified from a top-tier school Professional Qualifications: At least 1-2 years of relevant experience Key Skills: + Strong analytical and communication skills
+ Attention to detail
+ Strong work ethic and a passion for excellence
+ Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
+ Ability to deliver under time pressure
Prior experience in M&A transactions would be considered a plus
