Job SummaryManage ship chartering operationsRoles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with procurement/trading and operations to assess the requirement of vessel hiring.
- Plan and buy FOB against competition of CNF at optimum cost ensuring all legal terms and conditions are included in charter contract.
- Execute operations for FOB purchase and C&F purchase
- Follow up with agents / shippers for timely delivery of cargo without any dispute
- Manage post fixture activities
- Conduct market research of all sectors of cargo.
- Optimum freight rate obtained for FOB purchases
- Dispatch paid to shippers (Lowest)
- Recovered dispatch from ship owner (maximum) for C&F purchases
- Recover dispatch from shippers (Maximum)
- On time dispatch of cargo
