Job Summary 1. The project manager will conduct the management of the civil part of various turn-key industrial projects. 2. An Advisor/team member/specialist with-in the group for other project managers on civil related projects. A Knowledge and information source/publisher/trainer for civil related government permits, NOC or other approvals. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Drive regulatory leadership to support product development and ensure successful implementation and execution of regulatory plans to support product approval and commercialization. 2. Provide regulatory due diligence assessments of new business opportunities as required 3. Understand and interpret local and regional laws, regulations, guidance, and global regulatory and political developments throughout the geographic areas where the products are marketed while ensuring that elements, quality, accuracy and format of regulatory submissions comply with applicable laws and regulatory standards. 4. Build partnerships with senior key stakeholders from other functions to ensure that strategic business goals are met through the sharing of knowledge and expertise. 5. Engage with key customers, Peer Company\xe2\x80\x99s, Suppliers & represent organization at industry forums to support country specific regulatory objectives. 6. Liaise and negotiate with global regulatory authorities as needed for all aspects pertaining to product development including resolution of key regulatory issues and to expedite approvals of products. 7. Develop specific requirements and protocols in both quality and regulatory areas for all suppliers 8. Manages all customers and consumers complaints and build needed action plan 9. Create and monitor the company regulatory check list and manual 10. Manage the methodology and strategy for our factories/assembly sites to follow in producing quality product in the respect of Product Specifications and local regulations. 11. Authorizes the operations on these sites and ensures that adequate action plans are in place. 12. Participate into Concept phase of product development to set quality and regulatory risks 13. studying scientific and legal documents 14. Gather, evaluate, organise, manage and collate information in a variety of formats ensuring compliance with regulations set by the relevant Regulatory Agencies and Authorities. 15. Maintain the records of company product ranges and information. 16. Plan, undertake and oversee product trials and regulatory inspections 17. Keep up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines 18. Outline requirements for labelling, storage and packaging 19. Write comprehensible, user-friendly, clear product information leaflets and labels Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering (additional qualifications in Project Management related disciplines will be an advantage). Preferred Experience: 6 years of experience as a project leader in civil construction in the UAE. Preferably with experience in industrial civil construction works. 1. Reputed contracting firm 2. Reputed industrial group (preferably in foods) 3. Reputed engineering consulting firm with substantial exposure to industrial projects. Multi skill level in the Civil construction industry (Generalist). Must have experience in a broad spectrum of civil related construction works (example: MEP, plumbing, foundation, soil improvement and PEB buildings) Good knowledge and proven track record in obtaining UAE government approvals. (DM, DEWA, Trakhees, Nakheel, Emaar etc.). Have relationship and knowledge about local permitting process with SEWA/DEWA, Civil Defense, HAFZA and other authorities Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED18,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
