Role Profile:

Assist in the monthly closing and consolidation in Hyperion

Perform reviews and/or reconciliations of account balances to facilitate month-end/year-end reporting, and preparation of various schedules in relation to financial statements

Liaise with the Valuations team on valuations of the property portfolio of the Majid Al Futtaim Properties for half year and annual reporting

Submit financial and non-financial reporting information in Hyperion for both statutory and management related purpose

Coordinate with external auditors; act as a first point of contact for providing all relevant financial reporting information during the interim and final audits.

Advise on the accounting treatment and system impact on any project dealing with a legal restructuring, including acquisition, merger, and liquidation. Prepare relevant accounting entries to effect liquidation of legal entities

Requirements

5+ years of progressive experience

Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance

Experience and knowledge of accounting concepts (International Financial Reporting Standards) is required

Qualified accountant: ACA / CA / ACCA / CPA or other recognized professional accounting qualification(s)

Big 4 audit experience in real estate industry is an advantage

Strong analytical skills, organized, and with strong attention to details.
