Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary planning and design team, providing clear direction, quality oversight, and professional development support
• Manage master planning projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client vision and regulatory frameworks
• Develop and implement work programs that translate strategic project objectives into detailed execution plans
• Conduct advanced urban planning, urban design, and analytical research to support design decisions
• Review deliverables to ensure compliance with local and international planning codes, design standards, and sustainability benchmarks
• Gather and evaluate socioeconomic and physical data to inform master plan recommendations
• Develop technical inputs, planning reports, and high-quality presentations for clients and authorities
• Coordinate with government agencies, developers, and consultants to facilitate effective project delivery
• Contribute to business development activities including bid preparation, pricing, and proposal development
• Build and nurture strong client relationships and represent Parsons in key stakeholder meetings
• Support marketing and presentation efforts to promote Parsons' design and planning capabilities

Ideal Profile

• Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or a closely related field
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in master planning and urban design, preferably with large-scale regional or international projects
• Proven expertise in developing comprehensive master plans, conceptual layouts, and strategic urban frameworks
• Strong understanding of planning codes, zoning laws, and development regulations in the UAE and GCC
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage diverse teams and project portfolios
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, InDesign, and 3D modeling tools
• Client engagement experience within the Middle East region is essential
• Professional certifications such as AICP or RTPI are preferred
