Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively in both origination and execution phases of Infrastructure & Development Finance Group transactions, ensuring comprehensive oversight from initial pitch to successful closing.
  • Provide critical support in advisory and debt arranging transactions, conducting thorough financial analysis, meticulous due diligence, and detailed examination of project and financing documentation to mitigate risks and optimise outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful presentation materials for client engagements and internal stakeholders, focusing on financing markets, sector-specific trends, strategic alternatives, and standard Infrastructure & Development Finance Group structures to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Compile and submit detailed internal credit applications and comprehensive business memos, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards and garners necessary approvals promptly.
  • Develop robust financial models that support financial advisory activities, enabling clients and stakeholders to effectively evaluate project viability and financial resilience under varying scenarios.
  • Conduct scenario analyses on detailed financial models, evaluating the impact of different operating conditions, capital structures, and potential financing arrangements to advise on optimal capital solutions.
  • Perform in-depth financial analyses drawing on company data, financial models, due diligence reports, and other pertinent information, contributing to sound project assessments.
  • Maintain up-to-date transaction files to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance, ensuring transparency and accountability in all dealings.
  • Continuously monitor client activities and project progress, conducting market and industry research to identify trends and potential opportunities for strategic growth.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients' transaction teams and internal stakeholders, facilitating coordinated efforts across departments and regions to streamline project execution.
  • Take initiative in day-to-day project management tasks and provide execution support to ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Complete all required credit and regulatory examinations with diligence and accuracy, upholding the bank's risk management policies.
  • Support the portfolio management team in monitoring Infrastructure & Development Finance Group transactions post-closing, proactively identifying and escalating potential risks, and coordinating discussions with clients and co-lenders to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English is essential to effectively communicate in this global role.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent financial accreditation are highly advantagageous.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure project finance, development economics, and capital markets would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of regulatory environments relevant to financial services in the United Arab Emirates and international contexts is desirable.
