Project: This is a high-end mixed-use development of multiple high-spec towers in a prime location in Dubai.

Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.

Your responsibilities will include:

Establish an annual business plan for the team that you lead.

Develop client relationships within your sector(s) and lead the client engagement with the project delivery of your team.

Ensuring that there is always a pipeline of work for your sector(s).

Being accountable for the cost management deliverables for your team(s) across the entire project lifecycle.

Managing the utilisation of all the resources across your team(s).

Ensuring that your team(s) deliver in line with Mace\xe2\x80\x99s cost consultancy value-based approach.

Providing leadership and direction, take responsibility for the levels of engagement within your team(s) and ensure that you develop each one of your team members\' careers.

In the external market, seeking to raise our profile and reputation.

Understanding our contract scope of works and making sure that the teams you are responsible for, deliver what we have agreed to deliver promptly to high levels of quality.

Highly competent in the measurement of quantities for input into cost models, cost plans, cost estimates and bills of quantities using both traditional and digital methods as you will act as the lead in QAQC for your team(s) deliverables.

Proficiency in the use of estimating/billing software such as CostX.

Preparing cost modeling and benchmarking dashboards and presenting data to our clients in an interactive and informative manner.

Undertaking viability studies and cost estimating throughout the design stages with an emphasis on cost control and design to budget.

Taking the lead in communicating budgets to design teams and being proactive in advising how the design develops in line with the agreed budget.

Ensuring that your team all feed into the rate database by undertaking market research where necessary to support the accuracy of estimating and collating all data from current projects.

Undertaking optioneering and value engineering studies at key stages of the design development.

About you

You have a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering or a relevant degree, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification. You must have an MRICS. Familiarity with FIDIC is a significant advantage.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
